Cannibal Campout (1988)

Summary: Johnny, Carrie, Amy and Chris are just looking for a nice fun trip into the woods to tell some stories and bond with nature. What they find today is that there are 3 miscreants who are cannibals and looking to eat all 4 of them, in the most torturous way possible.           Overall: I will say, this was the first of the Camp Motion Pictures I had watched (followed soon after by Ghoul School, Woodchipper Massacre and the Video Violence double feature). So after watching it, I didn’t think much of it. However when comparing to those other 4, this is easily the best of those films. Best of the 5 in terms of acting, editing, effects and gore. And it’s got some funny dialogue, did a nice job there and more than tasteless enough in the ending. If you’re gonna watch one of those 5 films, this is the one to watch, hands down easy decision!           Comparison: Wrong Turn meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre
