Summary: The story of Dennis Rader and what living with him must have been like as he both enforced the law during the day and killed people in the evening!
Overall: I think my interview with Kane Hodder helps emphasize why this is a must-watch film. He’s a big guy and what makes the character work is the many scenes where the character is likeable (or trying to be). Watching him interact with the community you can see how new to this sorta acting it is for him, since he's mostly known for playing “Jason” in the many “Friday the 13th” films. He’s gotta be likeable one scene and then convince you he’s a deadly killer the next. Works for me! As for the film, I could have used a bit more story on the killer and even Kane admitted they didn’t include everything, although his reason was to make it past the censors (paraphrasing). Overall, nice job by Kane and a film you should go catch! Comparison: Ed Gein meets Serial Mom |
