Brain Dead (2007)

Summary: Here we have six people stranded in a deserted lodge with a lot of alien-infected, mutant zombies at their doorstep. They’re definitely not the type of people to get along so their story is destined to be action-packed!           Overall: For the most part, I end up with movies I know almost nothing about, mostly by choice. I get films sent to me most of the time they come with summary sheets and box art. I try and ignore those tidbits, until after I saw the film. Looking early either gets me too excited about a film or makes me put it off even longer since I have low expectations already.           With that said, I went into the film with no knowledge, no expectations but my oh my, this was fun. Great dialogue, fascinatingly interesting characters and really well-made gore. This was a very good film. The Clarence character had great one-liners, very interesting plot details and overall was fun to behold. The gore was sooo good sometimes, such great effects, I was quite impressed. We get some nudity, lots of gore and a very fun storyline. I very much recommend this film to others. Great work here!!!           Comparison: Cabin Fever meets Dawn of the Dead
