Trevor Morehouse is back for more death in destruction as Camp Placid Pines has reopened 5 years later. Angela and Michael are there and so is a killer looking to ring in the 5 year anniversary. But one (or more) of these campers is not who they appear. Who will survive?
Overall: I swear I’ve never seen a film have a character’s name repeated as often as this film repeats "Trevor Morehouse." It’s really a rip-off of the "Friday the 13th" films (which is what it intends) and has it’s basic plotline of Trevor similar to Jason - child of camp counselor, etc. The killer is now not only looking like Leatherface with the chainsaw, Michael with the machete, the mask of Jason, we now have the outfit of the killer from "Valentine." I think the sequel is better than the original but the copying of "I Know What You Did Last Summer" could have been skipped. By the way, in Europe, the film was retitled and then paired with a completely unrelated film and made up to be the "Halloween Camp" films. Comparison: Friday the 13th meets Camp Blood |
