The Blancheville Monster/Horror (1963)

Summary: Emily is come back home, just in time for her 21st birthday. She wants to lament her deceased father only to later find out…he’s not dead yet!!! Seems he is only a shell of a man since a bad fire and he believes the death of his daughter will alleviate a family curse. Question is…can’t she make it long enough to celebrate her birthday??           Overall: Film was “ok” but nothing special. It’s simply a retelling of “House of Usher” with new names and in the Italian language. Nothing special here so go get Vincent Price’s “Usher” and call yourself “even.”           Comparison: House of Usher meets Curse of the Werewolf
