Behemoth (2011)

Summary: When the world starts to experience simultaneous earthquakes and such, scientists discover a giant creature under the Earth that is wrapped around the entire planet. Only a few scientists can tell where the creature is due to pop out of the mountains and crush the Earth. Only they can stop it.           Overall: Despite the seemingly limited story you can create with such an immense creature, it still takes way too long to show you the creature…when it does show, wham it’s gone and so is the film. I hate to criticize a SyFy movie for this but I have to this time: Too much story. There’s so much plot, so much story, that there’s so little action!!!! Ugh. I can’t have it both ways with their films but am struggling to find any of their films having a cozy medium. Sad!           Comparison: Aladdin meets 2012
