Bacterium (2006)

Summary: It’s a great time to engage in some pant-balling action…except in these woods. Seems these friends have stumbled across a house that’s the den for some serious chemical and biological testing. But now they’ve accidentally let it out and only the government, who have been watching from afar, have come to stop it. But these 3 survivors wanna get out alive too, which no one, even the virus, has any intention of letting happen.           Overall: I’m gonna defer to all of my readers on Brett Piper’s films. Just like the Polonia Brothers, I just don’t get the fascination with Brett’s work. The sound isn’t very good, the effects are cheesy and frankly, outside of one actress, Alison Whitney, I just really didn’t think the film was watchable. The plot was suspect and not very cohesive and the film basically tried to be about our 3 survivors and how they manage to survive through their friendship and love. But nothing worked for me here. So go ahead and watch it folks and there’s prob a pretty good chance you’ll disagree with me.           Comparison: Outbreak meets Return of the Living Dead 3
