Are You Scared? (2006)

Summary: A crazy psychopath kidnaps teens and makes them go through tremendous and over elaborate torture methods to win their survival. The catch is, this is all being video tapped for show called Are You Scared? Now, a detective must follow the clues to try and stop the killer and save the kids from certain death… only problem is, the killer leads him on a wild goose chase.           Overall: Is it just me or does this plot sound like another movie? Yes, it does, it sounds exactly like Saw and that is why this movie is an utter rip off of the Saw films. The host of this game show is called “Tetris;” are you serious? I’ll even argue that this movie is a total rip off of Fear Factor. There were times when I couldn’t see anything because they probably shot on a mini DV camera and there were times when the whole security camera POV shots got on my nerves. I can’t help but feel like this movie was made by a bunch of high school TV dropouts.           Comparison: : Saw meets...well Saw.
