Arang (2006)

Summary: Detective So-young and her new partner Hyun-gi are investigating a series of odd murders. Men dying via some odd poison that frankly can only be produced from within the body. The more they investigate the more they realize the murders have something to do with an older crime and revenge that comes from it. Question is, can either of the officers stay out of the path of the killer?           Overall: In a way, critics are correct slamming this film for being nothing new to Asian Horror. Ghosts, long-haired ladies, etc. But the story keeps ya interested and frankly I wanted to see how it ended. The mystery is just twisted enough to keep ya involved. Worth a viewing!           Comparison: Ringu meets Shutter
