Amityville Horror 8: Dollhouse (1997)

The Martins have just moved into their new home but not all is well here. Seems in there new house is a model of the original Amityville house. But this model is a dollhouse but not any less dangerous than the original. Soon the family will realize that this dollhouse is the cause of the problems in their house and with the help of some friends, they must do anything they can to survive.
Overall: This movie is only good for the ending. Talk about ending the series once and for all...they sure did that and thank God. The series got old the moment they left the original house and created the curses or the objects with evil spirits attached to them. Overall though this film is downright silly. A spooky dollhouse? The whole dead father thing for the one son was also silly and more reminiscent of “American Werewolf in Europe” movies. And the wasps were just not a good idea, nor realistic as it climbs into the one son’s ear and they pour whiskey in the ear to kill the wasp...silly. It got sillier still with the step mom fantasizing incestual thoughts about her step son. Go ahead and skip this movie unless you are a true “Amityville” fan.
