- Allison Kyler was one of the stars on the 2nd Season of Vh1's "Scream Queens." Anyone looking for more info on Allison or her films, can visit her at her IMDB page or her twitter page: http://www.twitter.com/allisonkyler/.
Q: Allison, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?
A: My mom got me into Broadway Tours, commercials and print work around 8 years old. Also, I competed in dance and cheerleading competitions from the age of 5.
Q: Would you please explain why you applied to be on VH1’s “Scream Queens”?
A: I watched the first season and LOVED it. So when I saw the casting post for season 2, I knew I had to be on the show.
Q: Looking back, what did you think of your performance on the show?
A: I think overall I'm happy with my performances but you can always do better. So of course watching it back, I'm like I wish I had done this or that.
Q: What would you say was your best experience, best performance, or perhaps just something you learned that was really beneficial to you?
A: I learned to not be afraid. To not question your ability. If your given a task, never question it. Just attack it full force.
Q: Was there anything that did not air on the TV Show, that you would like to share? Maybe something funny off the set or maybe unaired competitions or something else?
A: I think the fact that I partied a lot. Other then working super hard on the challenges we had tons of off time in the house. So I was always dancing around and drinking. It was a lot of fun to learn to entertain yourself with no music, tv, telephones or computers.
Q: Looking as the top 3 finalists, do you think that they made the right choice for the winner?
A: FOR SURE! Gabby is a good friend of mine. And she deserved it all the way. She's talented, pretty and really nice!
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share about your experience on the show?
A: I just want people to take into consideration HOW stressful the whole process and environment really was. So give us a break yall!...hahahahaha.
Q: Can you tell me a little bit about films and projects you have worked on in the past?
A: Yes, I was on Greek, Bernie Mac and the Showtime Show "Live Nude Comedy" and the feature films, "You Got Served" "The Date Movie" and "Prom Night".
Q: Is there any movie director or producer you’ve never worked for that you really want to work for one day?
A: I would LOVE to work with James Gunn. Since I didn't get the chance to work with him on Scream Queens 2, I would love to be in one of his films!!!
Q: If we were to do an interview 1 year from now, what do you think you’d have going on that we’d be talking about?
A: Leading roles in feature films for sure!
Q: Anything you wish to add for my readers and visitors? Something special about you that they probably do not know?
A: I booked the feature film ChromeSkull: Laid To Rest 2!!! It is going to be released in 2011. I got to work with the amazing Director Robert Hall and such amazing actors. I am so beyond honored and excited to become part of this franchise. I also worked as a dancer in the feature film "Burlesque".
Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?
A: My favorite horror films are "Last House on the Left". The original and re-make. The original becomes much more campy at the end and the re-make sticks more to reality. Both are amazing and so hard to watch!
Q: Thank you very much for doing this.
A: Thank you guys sooo much for your support! And my fans can follow me on twitter at AllisonKylerMwahhhh xo
