The Alligator People (1959)

Summary: Jane Marvin agrees to become a subject in a series of hypnotic experiments. However, once under, she reveals that her real name is Joyce Webster and proceeds to tell a story. She married war veteran Paul Webster. But while on their honeymoon, he stepped off the train and vanished. She eventually tracked him down to a plantation mansion in the Louisiana swamps. She eventually discovered Paul was there but that he was a victim of an experiment gone wrong!           Overall: I think the film is simply “ok” as a monster film but the monster outfits are just dreadful. I like the plot and the ideas but once you see the alligator outfit, I was ready to turn it off right there. Skip it           Comparison: Island of Dr. Moreau meets Strangers on a Train
