Q: Mr. Burke, can you explain how you first got into the movie business?

A: I was working as a Professional Wrestler when I was offered a movie role. All I had to do was to beat-up, kidnap and kill Mexicans and I thought how much fun this would be ……..… and it was. Hollywood here I come.

Q: Would you please explain your acting role in "The Oatmeal Man."

A: Many of my roles in Hollywood are as a police officer so when they asked if I could bring my police motorcycle out, be in my CHP uniform and play a creepy cop hitting on a hot chick … really, does it get any better than that

Q: Knowing how movie reviews may skew the perception of one's product, give us in your own words what you want people to know about the film.

A: The best of horror with a twist. Five people set off for an adventure but will they return? Sean Gordon was the director and defiantly knows how to bring it.

Q: If there were one part of the filming that was more difficult than you expected, what would that be? Getting a costume to work? Appearing in a certain scene? Certain lines?

A: I own many police uniforms complete with all accessories including a real police motorcycle so all of that was easy for me. My scene was me being a creepy cop, undressing a cute blonde with my eyes while hitting on her, easy again. OMG I love this business. Eating peanuts and talking may have been my only difficult part and that was a breeze.

Q: Was there any one day, one moment where you just knew the film would work the way you thought it could?

A: I was in doing some ADR and was able to see some of the footage ….. Then when the trailers came out, I knew this was going to be REALLY good

Q: Looking back, I know that you’ve also appeared in other films. Can you tell me a little about them and your experience with it? First, “Blood Gnome”?

A: The director, John Lechago took a liking to me and kept expanding my role. First I was just the cop on the scene of a brutal killing. Then a second scene was added of me being in another bloody homicide scene eating doughnuts looking at a naked female. The final scene was added where I am being whipped by a dominatrix and that was the start of my horror film career.

2) How about “Magus”?

A: In Magus I played Python and was also the stunt coordinator so I was much more involved in this project. Python was made an example of by Magus in a great death scene. Working with Eva Derrek who was the total bad girl and making her fights look real and great was a lot of fun. It was also the second time working with Ron Fitzgerald, the first time was Blood Gnomes where I killed him and Ron got his revenge by killing me here. This was also my second film for John Lechago.

3) How about “Werewolf in a Woman’s Prison”?

A: A true classic!!!!!! I played Badger, the big bad bounty hunter. This time I was able to throw in some cool stunts along with playing a real bad ass that goes up against the Werewolf who was played by Victoria De Mare – a BIGTIME Scream Queen!!!!

4) How about “The Trek”?

A: Is a Lola Wallace film where I play the local cop who is sure nothing is happening as he is reporting to a newscaster when…!!!!

5) How about “Bio-Slime”?

A: Another John Lechago film where I am playing Jimmy, the Landlord. In the script I am married to a hot mail-order bride so in talking to the director, we decided that my character needed to be gross, so I went out and purchased a sumo fat suit, found 5X clothing and made Jimmy fat. Also I did the stunt coordinator along with weapons in the film

6) How about “Halfway To Hell”?

A: This is the second project I have done with Lola Wallace as the director. A very interesting script that I loved and playing Hesiod, a scary biker was right down my alley. A special about this film was run on G4 and was commented on by Rob Zombie which is a great endorsement!

7) How about “Killjoy 3”?

A: This was filmed in China and was a Charlie Band film with John Lechago directing. I played Punchy the Clown, Victoria De Mare played Batty Boop and Tai Chan Ngo played Freakshow all were created by Killjoy who was played by Trent Haaga. Once again I was stunt coordinating and we put together some great action and fight segments.

Q: What's next for you? What else does 2010 hold for you?

A: I just finished filming a comedy called Roll Call, working on a web series and have 4 new scripts sitting on my desk right now, all while talking to John Lechago about a new horror film….and a reality show. Stay tuned!!!!!

Q: Is there any movie director or producer you really want to work for one day? Or perhaps any actors or actresses you’d like to star with in a film?

A: I would love to work with everyone, Spielberg, Eastwood, Lucas all the way on down. My love for Hollywood will drive me to work for everyone!!!!!! OK - that is probably not realistic but what the hell

Q: What do you look for when picking projects?

A: Something that is fun, entertaining, challenging, exciting

Q: Finally...this is an "Obscure Horror Movie" website. Can you name the last horror movie you watched either at the theatres or on dvd, etc? How about name a favorite horror film that you have seen that most people probably haven't seen?

A: The last horror flick I watched was Paranormal Activity

Q: Thank you very much for doing this.
