Adam and Evil/Halloween Camp 2 (2004)

- written December 2005

Summary: Adam is still having nightmares so many years since a house burnt down killing a few people inside it. He still feels it is his fault. Now he’s off to this lake with 7 friends of his hoping for some fun. But wait, one of them may be a serial killer. And this weekend, someone isn’t coming home alive.

Overall: Let me start with this and I’ve seen more than enough reviews about this film to back me up. If you reach the 1-hour mark of this film and you can list every name of the 8 main characters...then you probably worked on this film or are just cheating. By the 60-minute mark, there are 2 characters whose names have not yet been uttered aloud. And by the end of the film, you’re sure to get the names of Yvette & Yvonne mixed up, as well as wonder why the guys are actually so “homely” compared to the ladies. Nice ladies...homely guys. I will say for all the lonely guys looking for T&A...there isn’t any. But at the 37-minute mark, we do have the camera focus solely on the chests of all 4 ladies. Nice ogling job actually. It’s a slow film with relatively little gore or blood. The reveal of the killer is silly but at least caught me somewhat off guard, despite it making little sense. You could probably guess early on...but u won’t guess the motive correctly. That’s out of left field. The acting is weak but not that bad considering the other films I’ve been watching lately. But is there any reason to watch this? No.
