2LDK (2002)

Summary: Lana and Nozimi are actresses competing for the same role in a movie...and also newly placed-together roommates in an apartment. While the company makes it’s decision, the 2 actresses spend their time, together, in the same house. Needless to say, their intricacies, habits and needling annoyances will soon get these 2 ladies on each other’s nerves. And when they realize they are competing for the same man’s attention, a minor squabble will turn into an all-out war.           Overall: Great film. I was totally intrigued during the entire film, it kept my attention, and really delivered a good story. We see these 2 ladies slowly getting on each other’s nerves and film then heightens each reaction by them…never too “unrealistic” but always escalating. We have the girl who gets everything through her looks and a girl who is simply used to winning, everything. And these 2 have no qualms about how to win either. They’re prepared to do anything to win. Bottom line was, I loved it.           By the way...the title refers to the type of apartment and what’s included: number of bedrooms, L = Living Room, D = Dining Room, K = Kitchen.           Comparison: Death and the Maiden meets Pulp Fiction
